Cancellation Policy
This policy sets out when a cancellation fee applies, and at what rate, if your plans change after booking. Please let us know as early as you can.
This is an English reference translation of the Japanese original. The Japanese version prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Cancellation fees
Cancellation fees are calculated from the time remaining until the programme's start date and time. The cut-offs are measured backwards from the start time, not by counting calendar days before the event. Our standard rates are as follows.
- Before the same time 7 days prior
- Free
- After the same time 7 days prior
- 50%
- After the same time 3 days prior
- 80%
- After the same time the day before, or no-show without notice
- 100%
* Example: for a programme starting at 10:00 on 10 October, cancelling after 10:00 on
7 October incurs 80%, and cancelling after 10:00 on 9 October incurs 100%.
* These are our standard rates. Some programmes apply different terms, so please always
check the rate that actually applies on each programme's detail page and during booking.
It is also shown in your booking confirmation email.
Changing the date or party size
If you would like to change your date or the number of participants, please first contact us using the details in your booking confirmation email. We may be able to accommodate the change subject to availability. Where a change is not possible, the cancellation fees above may apply.
Cancellation due to bad weather or by the organiser
If we cancel a programme because of severe weather, safety concerns, or any other reason on the organiser's side, no cancellation fee is charged. As a rule we refund the full amount you have paid. We will let you know the refund method and timing individually.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, we issue it by a method appropriate to your original payment. Depending on your payment provider, it may take some time for the refund to appear.
