Nothing to bring, nothing to prepare. Bind a soft, light 45 × 180 cm length of Chita cotton in mangekyo (kaleidoscope) or tesuji (hand-pleated stripes) shibori, dye it, and take home a stole that exists nowhere else.

What you will be doing.

approx. 120 min

Using one of the Arimatsu Shibori techniques — mangekyo (kaleidoscope) or tesuji (hand-pleated stripes) — you make a stole of your own.

You work on a soft, light 45 × 180 cm length of Chita cotton, and the session gives you the time to take a traditional shibori technique properly in hand.

There is nothing you need to bring with you, so you can drop in as you are.
